I’m 18 and don’t have a FOID card but I want to go shoot at the range. Is that allowed or do I need a FOID card?
You could share a lane with someone who does possess a FOID card, but you are unable to shoot by yourself.
Can I test fire a gun before I buy it?
It depends, we do have 150+ firearms available for rent including some of the most popular models available for rent at our range. If we do not have it on rental, we cannot allow you to test fire it prior to purchase.
Are we still aloud to shoot AR .22 at an indoor range? I can't seem to find any info from the state of Illinois on it's legality!!!
Yes a licensed range is one of the exemptions carved out in the IL Assault Weapon Ban.
Is it possible to use range without a FOID as ling as i take the training classes?
In the state of Illinois you are not required to have a FOID if you are attending a class led by a certified instructor.

As long as you have a FOID card you can have 1 additional shooter on your lane. If your son is between the age of 8 an 14 he must take our Youth Training course. If he is 15 years old or older he is able to shoot with a guardian.

The state has moved FOID and CCW applications to an online portal.
