Disappointed and Concerned – Unprofessional Behavior from Staff I used to be a pretty active and loyal customer at this store, but my recent experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning—and I highly recommend others take their business elsewhere. What was once a professional environment has taken a sharp turn. The staff have become extremely relaxed, careless, and in some cases, outright disrespectful. During my most recent visit, I mentioned—casually and without hostility—that I wouldn’t shoot 5.56 in my house. One of the employees got visibly upset by this harmless comment. Things escalated quickly and unprofessionally. While I was checking out—after being talked into a purchase by a different, more helpful employee—the same individual interrupted the transaction, aggressively told the team to cancel it because it was “almost 7,” and acted combative toward me and even his own coworker. This happened right in front of the manager, Britney, who had to watch another employee step in to defuse the situation. Britney asked me to call back the next day around 10 a.m. to check on the background check since the store was closing. I was completely fine with that. But when I followed instructions and called back the next morning, the same rude employee answered. Before I even gave him my name, he spoke to me with the same dismissive tone, telling me he didn’t “have time for this” and would “get to it when he gets to it.” Once again, another employee had to jump on the call and handle the situation like an adult. The fact that this behavior was witnessed by management and allowed to continue is deeply troubling. A person who cannot control his emotions and treats customers this way has no business working in any environment—especially one involving firearms. Disgusting customer service. No accountability. No professionalism. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere, and I strongly suggest others do the same. There are too many reputable shops out there to tolerate this kind of treatment.
