So many good things about alpine shooting range! We love everything about it. People like Sandra and Nathan make the place so enjoyable. Our only choice in range visits, in store purchases and FFL dealer to ship guns to. 10/10 recommend

Why can't you shoot FMJ pistol rounds? 3 previous times I used FMJ(10+yrs ago.) I
did not see any signs or hear anyone talking about it. The average shooter can not afford
to practice with HP ammo.FMJ is called tar-get/practice ammo.
There are no restrictions on pistol ammunition. We do not, however, shoot FMJ rifle rounds.

Yes!! No restrictions on pistol ammo.

What is the youngest age allowed on the range? I have a 13 year old son I want to teach the basics and more importantly the safety of handling firearms. Thanks in advance
There is only a minimum age for kids who aren’t with their parents.
is rapid fire allowed?
The steel range has no rate of fire restrictions as long as the projectiles are impacting the berm or steel targets. Customers can also qualify for holster work on the private range and there are no rate of rife restrictions. The standard ranges all have a 1 shot per second limit.
Are .50 BMGs allowed? Like a Barrett M82A1
No, we don’t shoot 50 BMGs at Alpine. Thanks for the question.
What does it cost
Our range fee is 15.00 for the entire day. If you showed up at 8 and left at 6, it would cost you 1.50 an hour....shooting isn’t for everyone....if that’s to steep for “the red” he might think about getting a different job....

Can I shoot a muzzle loader there?
Muzzleloaders are fine, come on out!!
No rapid fire at all? Any private suites?
There is no rate of fire restrictions on the steel range. All other bays have a 1 shot per second restriction.
Can you fire .338 Lapua rounds?
Yes, up to but not including a 50 BMG.
