If you haven't ever owned a surpressor, this is not the place to buy your first one. They will sell you something they need to get rid of because they didn't do their research and bought a dud. I was told all you would here is the projectile impacting the backstop. They even took the suppressor to the back and shot it into their discharge device with the door open so I could hear it. It was either a different surpressor or the device they shoot into hides the sound. After spending over a grand for everything, I have a very loud can that only drops the noise level enough to not need hearing protection but still loud enough for the neighbors to know your shooting. It's one thing to buy something with higher expectations that are realistic but it's something completely different when the salesman sets those expectations with a very inaccurate description. Since I left this review I tried it in a G19 long which has a longer barrel. To be clear, I bought the ammo from you, so there's that. There was no difference. What ever I heard at the shop does not compare with the actual sound level lof this can.
