Went to have my gun appraised. Was given a rather poor offer compared to every other shop in the area and that’s not all that concerning. To me what really turned me off to the place was the older gentleman who spoke to me as if I was clueless about anything having to do with guns or selling items second hand. He reminded me that I won’t get full price for it in a rather condescending manner. Additionally he used analogy’s when explaining things to me that I didn’t understand and when I asked him to clarify or explain further I was met with more rude and condescending “answers”. If your an experienced shooter and have lots of knowledge about guns this may be a nice place to go. If you are unfamiliar or just not super savvy in the gun space I assure you this is not the place for you. You will be treated like a child no matter what prior experience you bring. I’ll also mention that my gun was returned to me (rather ungraciously after I didn’t accept the low offer) the chamber flag was not put back inside the gun and they didn’t even give it back to me. I instead had to return back to the store to retrieve it. This feels like a minor safety concern that should be addressed. Especially when I watched a different employee hand a gun over to another customer without opening and checking the chamber or gun. Overall the staff and management of this store seem to think they have everything figured out and are experts in the gun space. They act as if they know everything better than you and will become condescending if you ask questions they think are dumb or too basic. And they lack the very basic gun safety standards that one would come to expect in any other gun store. At a very minimum I would love to see these safety concerns addressed immediately. A gun should never be passed over the counter to a customer without the employee and customer both inspecting the chamber and magazine the second the gun leaves the gun case.

Q&A
What is the cost per person to come and shoot?
$16 per day for 1 person $28 per day for 2 people
Can you shoot AR15 there
Yes, the only limitation is it can not be steel core ammo. We will check rifle ammo at check-in with a magnet to verify. We have firearms available for rent.
Can I borrow a friend's gun and bring it to shoot?
As you long your friend allows you to borrow the firearm, we don’t check for ownership of your firearm. Make sure they have shown you proper operation and you are of legal age to use the firearm. 21 for pistols and 18 for rifles.
Can you bring your own gun
Yes, We do not allow steel core ammo for rifles. We also have rental firearms available.
Do you have to bring your own gun? First time ever going to one
We have rental firearms available. Rifles and pistols. The only requirement for first time visitors is you will watch a 15 minute range safety video.
are shotguns welcome
We do allow shotguns , but only SLUGS.
What are prices for a CCS class
Do you mean CCW if so the are $50.00 per person plus tax.
Can you fire 12 gauge slugs on the range?
That is all you can use.Shotguns are slugs only,no shot.
Is this business an FFL dealer that will accept online order transfer? If so, is there a fee?
We do FFL to FFL transfers,we do not accept private transfers. If you make a purchase at a FFL they can send a copy of their license to us and we will send a copy of ours back.A purchase from a private owner needs to go to a FFL for them to send the firearm to us.
Is there an age restriction on rental?
21 without a parent with you.
Would I be able to use Federal American Eagle 5.56mm NATO 55 Grain FMJ in your shooting range or do I have to purchase soft tip rounds
55 GR FMJ IS FINE JUST NO STEEL CORE SURPLUS
Do you allow rifles of higher caliber? 7 mm mag?
We allow 30 mm bullets but that is too much of a powder load for 25 yards. It would likely do damage to the range and it likely would not have enough range for the bullet to run flat and be able to strike a target . 7 mm Mauser does not work well in here because the bullet is still climbing at 25 yards.308,54r,45-70 with soft tips or hollow point work too.
