I want to come and try out the gun range and it would be my first time and i do not have a permit and i also want to bring some friends to try it out, do I need a permit to shoot in the gun range?
According to New York State Law, you need a pistol permit to fire a handgun in NYS, which we strongly oppose but are forced to comply with. However, we have a large rental selection of long guns for you and your friends to come out and try.
I have a permit, my wife does not. Can she use the range if I am with her?
Robert is correct! NYS law says you must have a valid NYS permit in order to shoot handguns. She can shoot rifles and shotguns, though!
Is there a gun range here? If so, I need to sight in my muzzleloader, is that permitted?
Hi Jim Bob! Muzzleloaders are on the short list of items we do not allow to be shot in the range. This is because they are too smoky for our ventilation system and we'd have to change the filters too often.
I'm Canadian, can foreign nationals rent out long guns at range?

I have just received my pistol permit. A friend of mine (Mike Cumbie) recommended I come to the firing pin before purchasing. Are you able able to assist me in finding the right pistol for me and do I need an appointment?
Absolutely! Assisting new permit holders in finding their perfect fit and answering all their questions is not only our duty but also one of our greatest passions.
is the outdoor range open?
We unfortunatly do not have an outdoor range (maybe one day).
Do you have a gusmith on duty?
Once our rebuild is complete we will offer different gunsmithing services.
In order go to the pistol permit class do you have do call ahead or can u just show up?
It's best to call ahead just in case the class gets canceled for some reason. We have a sign-up sheet that you have to register for. We just need a name and phone number.
Can someone under 21 (19) shoot here using a range issued gun?
Long guns (rifles and shotguns) you only have to be 18 to shoot on your own! If you're under 18 you just need a 21+ parent or guardian with you
Do you allow 30-06 or .308 Winchester?
In our rifle range we allow anything up to 300 win mag

I would like to shoot my blackpowder rifle and pistol at your range. Do you allow BP firearm use? Thanks.
Unfortunately we do not allow blackpowder in our range, too smokey.
