If I bring a friend that is new to shooting (handguns), do you offer (as part of a rental) a non gun/ replica so I can show him the proper way to stand, grip, overall etiquette, etc. ?
Hello Mike,
Unfortunately we do not have that as an option. You could still pay for the Intro Class and the RSO can assist with that portion of instruction on the range.
If we're not licensed and don't own a weapon can we rent and utilize the range ?
Yes you can! We require groups of two or more to rent firearms without a firearms ID.
Do they have accommodations for archery ?
Not at this time… we are only able to accommodate firearms.
What is the age requirement
We require eight years and older. 18 years to go by yourself or with a friend. And you must be 21 years of age and older to rent a handgun. 18 to 21 can rent a rifle.
Do minors need i.d.?
No. Minors will need to be accompanied by an adult who will fill out a guardian release.
Do u have to have a membership to try the weapons
No you don’t! We are a public range that offers memberships.
do you have 303, for british enfield rifle?
Unfortunately at this time, we don’t have that caliber in stock.
Are walk ins welcomed?
Yes! RTSP is a public range and no appointments are needed.
Can a 13 year old shoot any firearm or isn’t it restricted to a certain amount of weapons
The minimum age is 8 years.
We don’t have a restriction on number of firearms. However, you can only have a certain number safely on the port shelf at a time.
Do you honor the blue label program ? Do you have any glocks for sell ?
We are Blue Label dealer and yes.
Do you sell fire arms? Do I need to be license to carry a gun ? What are the requirements to buy a gun. Thank you
Yes we do. You must have a NJ issued Firearms ID card for rifles/shotguns or Pistol Permit for handguns. You can get all that information via your towns police website or call the store for more information.
Is the range open on Columbus Day?
Yes. Normal hours at both locations.
