What is the best way to get a background check?
Once you have an approved check, can you use it to purchase arms anywhere?
Great question! The background check is actually connected to the specific firearm(s) you would be looking to purchase. The background check is only good at the location of the check, for the firearm you would have already picked out and for that specific purchase only. Any future purchases would require further background checks
I am buying a Heritage Rough Rider revolver tomorrow and wondering if I wait for a while before I take the gun home ? How much is gun safety course?
Hi Walt, in Michigan, there is no wait period before you are able to take the firearm home. Provided you pass the federal background check, you are able to take the firearm home that day.

Does this place do hunters safety classes???
We do not offer Hunter Safety courses at this time. Contact your local DNR branch and they can point you in the right direction.
