The Range At 355

People behind the counter and at the rental counter were very knowledgeable and friendly. No issues there. The biggest let down was at the range when the range hand was very rude and insulting. He told me I didn’t have any “common sense” for not using the target size they prefer at their range. The targets used were from another range which we’ve used numerous times and not once had an issue with. He continued to talk down to me after politely asking why this target was not acceptable and also explaining to him that I was never told anything about target size requirements at the range check in. He responded with, “use your common sense” and “you’re shooting the shit out of the target, there’s nothing left to shoot”. In reality there had only been 20 rounds put through the target and was still very much usable for at least another 20. Ultimately I decided to leave with 45 minutes left of my 60 minute session. Money not well spent. Will not be returning. A real disappointment.

Started coming to 355 during a pandemic. The place is nice and clean, and they don't play around about safety. The range officer on duty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful if I had any questions, even on range. Honestly I like the "tough love" type of mentality that I notice some are mentioning. Hey, we all have bad days and working at a gun range I'm sure they'd like those days very limited which is why they may seem a bit uptight when they notice a issue.They lady at the desk that people are saying is rude I get it, but she's not that bad, lbvs. Eyes, and ears, mask up.
