We sometimes have them in stock...not a regularly stocked item though. None available at this time.
What would you consider a good starter gun for a newcomer ?
Depends on what you want to do. If you just want to plink (target practice only), .22lr rifle or handgun is the way to go. Cheap ammo, no recoil, lots of fun.
If home defense is concern, pump action shotgun.
If carry defense is concern, start off with a .38spl revolver for ease of use. Downside is limited capacity. If you're going to take classes & practice a lot, then 9mm semi-auto is way to go.
if I have a firearm sent to your store how much do you charge for the FFL back ground check
We charge $30 for a transfer. We do require that the transfer comes from a licensed firearms dealer.
